Short term Missions – Making Aliyah Possible

My Second Ezra Fisherman Trip

This is my second trip with Ezra and Rev. Barry Wagner to the former USSR country of Ukraine. The first trip was
to “check out” their operation with the Jewish people of that country and secondly to possibly confirm what I felt was a calling on my life from the Lord to do “something” with/for His Chosen People. Meeting with and getting to know the staff in their Kiev and Odessa offices convinced me that everyone involved in the Ezra Ministry over there was there by Divine appointment and I could do no better in my retirement years than to help them help God’s people by raising the funds that are so necessary to fuel this amazing end-time ministry.

This second trip was as the Ontario Representative for Ezra Int’l; and was even more rewarding than the first. As I sit comfortably in my home in Ontario, I think back to the “Olim”, the Jewish people that are in one stage or another of returning to their God-given land of Israel. I think about the poverty and persecution and the hopelessness of their current living conditions, most with no family, friends or organizational support system, and the wonderful change that awaits them upon their arrival in the Holy Land. I marvel at how, because of the faithfulness of a few, literally thousands (70,000) of them have moved from the “pit” to the “palace” that is known as the City of God.

I recall seeing the blank look of despair and despondency on their faces, and then the joy and the tears of happiness that changed their countenance as the realization of a new life of hope and dignity began to dawn upon them and become more and more real as their date of departure approached.

Yes, there are many worthwhile humanitarian organizations and causes that do wonderful work, but somehow, Ezra is different. Now in my 67th year, I am a firm believer in the “old-time” values of love, respect and courtesy. When I fell in love with my wife of 44 years, I “loved” what she loved and I “loved” doing what she loved. As Christians, we are supposed to love our God, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. As such, I strongly believe that we should love what our God loves, and His word makes it very clear how much He loves His “Chosen People” the Jews, His chosen land, Israel, and His chosen city, Jerusalem.

His word not only makes it clear about this special love for a special people, but it even offers numerous blessings for those who will love, pray for and materially support this “nation that I have set above all nations”. So, if I may be so bold, I would encourage all the readers of this newsletter to take this message to your friends, relatives, neighbors and your local churches and become activists in this cause and partner with God in helping restore His people to their covenant land of Israel. Time is running out and the doors of immigration will be closing soon. I would also encourage you to take the Jeremiah 16 “fishing” trip next year with Rev. Wagner and prepare to receive the blessing of your life.

Time is running out!!!!! – for Jews making aliyah

Time is Running Out!!!!!!!!!!!

Not only are there tens of thousands of Jews suffering in poverty and sickness, but many are targeted for violence by anti-Semitic groups around the world. More important, the doors for immigration are closing in many former Soviet nations – and the latest reports are that once again mass killings of Jews will take place once the borders are closed.

Ezra wants to rescue these Jewish people…f rom violence and possibly death, from poverty, sickness, hoplessness and broken hearts. Please pray now about standing with Ezra.

Respond today………….. while there is still time to make a difference.

URGENT!!! Help needed making Aliyah – Mel Hoelzle Founder

A word from Mel Hoelzle

Founder Ezra International

I read that: The president of the USA said that America is not a Christian nation.

I read that: The president of the USA said that America is a great Moslem nation.

I read that: The president of the USA told Israel they need to change and to stop

expanding the settlements.

Then I read what GOD says:

Genesis 12:3 says, “I will bless those who bless you, (Israel) and whoever curses you (Israel) I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” (Israel)

As true believers we have received the blessing GOD sent through Israel (the messiah Jesus Christ). So how can we be a friend and bless Israel? One of the greatest blessings we can do for Israel is to help one more Jewish person return to their homeland according to Bible prophesy in God’s Word.

Ezekiel 36:24 says, “For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land.”

Today, Ezra International is working with over thirty thousand Jewish people in the former Soviet Union countries and South and Central America that are ready to leave for Israel.

Many could leave today except for the lack of finances to finish their processing. The average cost from start to finish in getting one person to Israel is approximately $360.00.

Can you please help, whether $36.00 or $360.00 or any amount will help us send one more home.

And you will have blessed Israel.

Thank you for your continuing support and prayers.

Mel Hoelzle,

Founder Ezra International

Making Aliyah

Making Aliyah—In the context of Isaiah 49, verse 25 gives us insight into God’s passion and set will in His people coming home. Whether you even believe in Him or not does not change the fact that He is, as He has said, “I am, that I am.” Our Father does not suffer from an identity crisis that He should justify that statement. Those countries, governments, organizations or institutions that try to prevent them leaving will contend with the Almighty, and sudden destruction will come to them without remedy.

Perhaps you don’t believe, Psalm 14:1, has a very brief and frank reply to those who don’t, “The fool says in His heart there is no God…”, I mention this not to offend you, but to encourage you. We place so much faith in the deeds of men that we forget that in the 1980′s, of the 735 prophetic statements in the Bible, 590 had come to pass in our physical world. Friends the time is at hand.

The Aliyah of the Jewish people will take place, and is taking place.

The situation in Europe, the Former Soviet Union and many other countries is becoming desperate for many Jewish families. Ezra International has already helped 38 000 of these precious people make Aliyah, and return to their land. Currently, we have an enormous need for both prayer and financial support, another 32 000 Jewish people are bound in their countries simply because they cannot afford to make Aliyah. The average cost for one Jewish person to leave is 250-00Euros or 360 US dollars. Costs include an international passport for every member of the family, transport to and from the Jewish Agency in that country, accommodation as many of these people live in poverty, shunned by local communities and of course humanitarian aid as required while awaiting permission to leave.

Thats correct approximately 11 500 000US dollars or 8 000 000Euros is needed!!!!!!!!!

I am confident that not only will God provide the above by whatever means, but that indeed He will provide more than enough for every Jewish person to make Aliyah according to His good pleasure.

Don’t suppose that the financial obligation stops there, many of these people live in government owned accommodation, outstanding rent and utility bills MUST be settled before their release is secured.

Pastor, on pensions of 7US dollars/month and salaries of between 17-40US dollars/month they have no chance……………we need your support. Isaiah 49:22-end

There is no doubt that now is the season to act in partnership with the Holy Spirit, and bring His children home. Contact me for more information on presentations in your congregation.

Shalom

Paul
